Reversible Quilted Bog Jacket Class - August 8, 2025

Immerse yourself in creativity in charming historic Old Town Montgomery, TX. Doors open at 9:30 AM, and the class runs from 10 AM to 3:00 PM.

During this class you will make a reversible Quilted Bog jacket. You will learn a how to make a felled seam - also known as a flat-felled seam - a type of seam finish where the raw edges of the fabric will be enclosed within the seam using binding; thus creating a reversible option of the Bog jacket.

This fun workshop will take you from fabric to fashion! You’ll start with your chosen quilt and, by the end of the class session, walk away wearing a stunning, one-of-a-kind quilted jacket.

What to Bring:

For sizing, I’ll have jackets made with the Bog pattern we’ll be using, so everyone can find their perfect fit.

If you don't have a quilt to use - don't worry - I offer plenty of quilts in all price ranges for you to choose from, including a stock of "ready made" binding.

We’ll keep you fueled with snacks and there is a refrigerator available to keep your lunch cool. Remember to bring your favorite drinks!
