This is a one-of-a-kind quilted jacket made from a vintage quilt top. This coat was created using a vintage machine-stitched quilt top covered in a scrappy friendship star patchwork pattern using a variety of fabrics (flour sack, cotton, rayon, shirting, etc.). For a finished look, the top was quilted using a modified Fleur de Lis quilting pattern on 80/20 batting and a light green with daisies cotton/poly backing.
A basic jacket design, two front pockets, finished off with a simple collared neckline – open front coat. One size fits most and sleeves can be rolled up for a comfy look. These jackets are like wearing a hug – this is a piece of history, and you can add to its story.
