Vintage Quilts - Gingham Chandelier

This is a 66- by 79-inch handmade quilt. The quilt top is machine-pieced using a variety of circa 1970s gingham fabric, the backing is a vintage cotton sheet. The quilt is hand bound and uses 80/20 batting. 

Machine sewn quilt top was originally a tied quilt (circa 1970s). I added a border from the vintage sheet and the final border was from the original backing of the quilt. The quilt is made up of a patchwork pattern of 3" pastel gingham squares in a beautiful chandelier chain pattern. The backing for the quilt is a vintage '70s sheet and is completed with a floral quilted pattern.

Ready to ship. The quilt in the picture will be the quilt you receive, each quilt is handmade, so they are all unique - no two are alike. Additionally, with handmade items there is always an element of human error, whether it be a missed stitch or overlapping design, yet for me the beauty is in the imperfection.
