This is a one-of-a-kind blanket jacket made from an upcycled vintage Pendleton red and blue plaid wool blanket. For a finished look the jacket design includes a basic collared neckline with a peek-a-boo vintage ribbon sewn along the inside, two outside pockets, and an open closure. One size fits most and to complete the design the hem of the jacket have the original fringe of the blanket.
This vintage wool blanket was made by Pendleton in a red and blue plaid design with fringed edges. The tag reads, "Warranted to be a Pendleton. Pendleton Woolen Mills Portland, Oregon, 100% Virgin Wool. Pure Virgin Wool Made in the U.S.A." The blanket was in great vintage condition and dry cleaned prior to redesigning into a jacket.

With handmade items there is always an element of human error, whether it be a missed stitch or overlapping design, yet for me the beauty is in the imperfection.
