Join Us for either the Quilted Jacket or Bog Jacket Class on January 20, 2025!
Immerse yourself in creativity at the charming historic Montgomery Community Building in Old Town Montgomery, TX. Doors open at 8:30 AM, and the class runs from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
I have two different patterns to work from. During this class you can choose either the "OG" Quilted jacket or the Quilted Bog jacket.
This fun workshop will take you from fabric to fashion! You’ll start with your chosen quilt and, by the end of the class session, walk away wearing a stunning, one-of-a-kind quilted jacket.
What to Bring:
- A quilt or wool blanket (vintage or new, commercial or handmade—anything goes!) minimum size 65" x 65".
- 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" binding (6-8 WOF), which doesn’t need to be on the bias.
- A sewing machine with matching thread.
- A serger, if you have one (I’ll have two available during the class).
- Pins/clips and sturdy cutting scissors.
- Your positive and cheerful spirit!
For sizing, I’ll have jackets made with both patterns we’ll be using, so everyone can find their perfect fit.
We’ll keep you fueled with snacks and lunch. Just remember to bring your favorite drinks!
